City: Bellingham, WA Place: Nightlight Lounge, Chestnut St Reason: Support local music, get our dance on, make eyes at attractive band members Neon lights bounce off grey brick walls, catching the shine of vodka, whiskey and rum. Pulsing rhythms race as sweat rolls down the small of your back. Beats reminiscent of Bob Marley … 50’s shoo-wop-doo-wop … skank to ska, horns blowing. A candy orange jumpsuit tracks around the stage - Napoleon Dynomite meets Rivers Coumo. The crowd grows larger as the music grows louder. We’re all out tonight – hipsters and hippies, scenesters and preps, punk rockers and Rastafarians . Take a breath and look around - we join together in stomping feet and swaying hips, smiles and screams to words we may not know. Yogoman Burning Band winds their energy deep within our souls, taking us to a place we love to go, but too often forget about.
